Welcome to ISWMFC'2013!
Rapid development and an increasing demand for natural resources have taken their toll on the natural environment over the past few decades. Water shortages, resource exhaustion, and ecosystem degradation afflict many areas. In an effort to respond to these challenges, innovative solutions to vast environment and water requirements alongside a strong commitment towards natural resources protection and conservation have been at the forefront of development. ISWMFC'2013 aims to bring together scientists, policy makers and practitioners at all levels of government, international organizations, and academic institutions to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of water resources, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. The symposium will focus on the topics including water resources management, watershed management, flood control, climate change adaptation, and applications of environmental informatics.
